PHASE ONE BUILD THE RISE UP COURT
WHY THE RISE UP COURT?
PURPOSE: Communities need safe spaces to connect. Especially youth in underserved communities. The RISE UP Court is a safe community gathering space. We envision thousands of youth and young adults being attracted and impacted through sports and community events. They will be given growth opportunities to learn life skills that will prepare them to thrive physically, mentally, socially, financially, and spiritually.
LOCATION: The RISE UP Court is located at Harbor of Hope SDA Church, 769 Pipestone Street, Benton Harbor, Michigan. (The former Berrien County Health Department.)
CONSTRUCTION PHASE: July 13-August 31, 2020
FUNDRAISING GOAL: $96,500

A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR TAURUS
The recent events in our nation was a wake up call for me. I've been inspired to step fully into who God called me to be. To do more in my community, more to empower young people, more for the cause of justice, more to bring the city together, more to ignite Benton Harbor to reach our potential as a community. RISE UP BENTON HARBOR is our effort to be more and do more for the people. The time if now!

Join us for worship, fellowship, and a conversation with police officers about how our community can build better relationships with our local police department.
